TAG Photography
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 29, 2026
This website is operated by TAG Photography (“we”, “us”), the photography practice of Teri Moore, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This page explains what personal information we collect through tagphotographywpg.com, why, and what your choices are. It is written to align with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Enquiry form. When you use the contact form we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, and message, and optionally your pronoun, a subject line and a mailing address. We also record the date, time and the IP address the message was sent from, to help prevent spam.
- Server logs. Our web host keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
- Email. If you email or call us directly, we keep that correspondence so we can respond and manage your booking.
We do not sell your information or operate a mailing list on this site. The site uses Google Tag Manager to load measurement and analytics tags, and the contact form uses hCaptcha (see Third parties below). These may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can block these in your browser settings or with a content blocker. Your browser may also store small, non-identifying preferences (such as a remembered menu state) on your own device only.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you book, to plan and deliver your photo session.
- To keep records of bookings, correspondence and invoices.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We will not sell your personal information or share it for marketing.
Third parties
- Web fonts. Typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your IP address and browser details are sent to Google to deliver the font files. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
- Google Tag Manager. This site uses Google Tag Manager to load measurement and analytics tags. When a page loads, information such as your IP address, browser details and the pages you visit may be sent to Google and any services the tags connect to. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
- Contact form delivery. When you send the contact form, your submission goes to Web3Forms, a form service that forwards it to us by email. See Web3Forms’ privacy policy for details.
- Spam protection. The contact form uses hCaptcha to stop automated spam. hCaptcha receives technical information such as your IP address and how you interact with the form, and may set cookies. See hCaptcha’s privacy policy for details.
- Social links. Links to our Facebook and Instagram pages take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies. We do not embed their tracking scripts on this site.
- Reviews. The recommendations shown on our reviews page were written publicly by clients on Facebook and are reproduced here as quotes.
Your photographs
Images from a paid session are delivered to you in a private, password-protected online gallery. We keep our own copies as part of our records. We may show a small selection of images in our portfolio and on social media; if you would prefer that we do not use your photographs anywhere publicly, just tell us and we will respect that.
How long we keep information
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to two years and then deleted. Booking records and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and legal obligations. Session galleries and files are retained so we can supply replacements, and may be archived or removed after an extended period — ask us if you need a file re-issued.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are emailed to us and a copy is stored on the server; access to that server and to our email is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep. Email tagphotographywpg@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
